Living in Cardiff with her much-loved family of five, life for Emma Apted is wonderfully chaotic, ludicrously loud and suitably suburban. Every now and then, when she can find five minutes, she likes to retreat to a world of jet-setting romance. Whether it be a film, series or book, Emma finds solace in a great love story. I'm currently reading...
A little late to the party I know... But I am currently wading through the North Carolina marshes with Delia Owens and Kya in Where the Crawdads Sing. The dialect and writing style took a chapter or two to get into but now I'm hooked. Beautifully written and evocative, this is a fantastic read. And no, I haven't seen the film yet. For me, the book must always be finished first...
